The Latin Dance Connection’s Argentine Tango class is the longest running Tango classs in Stirling (running since 2009). We are the only teachers in Scotland to have gained the certificate “Masters para Maestros de Tango” at the prestigious ‘Escuela Argentina de Tango’ in Buenos Aires after successfully completing an intensive teaching course taught by the world’s best Tango teachers and practitioners. This means we use the same techniques as used by the top maestros in Buenos Aires, so it is like being in Argentina when you come to class (although of course lessons are in English). When thinking about joining a dance class it is always important to thoroughly check out an instructor’s teaching experience and qualifications.
We have been teaching dance since 1998 and in that time have developed the required skills, techniques and methodology to help the complete beginner (you know, the ones with two left feet!!!), through to the advance dancer to to improve their dance skills. We often work with other organisers such as the Tolbooth Theatre (Stirling) and Celtic Connections (Glasgow) to promote Latin music and dance and bring some of the best live Tango music to Stirling and Scotland.
Learning to Dance is Fun
It is important that our students enjoy their dancing experience, and our emphasis is on fun. People learn at different rates so our lessons are geared at working at your level, not you working at our level. We don’t stick to a set syllabus that everybody has to adhere to and we gauge our success on how much you enjoyed the class, and funnily enough, the people that enjoy the class tend to learn quicker.
New Beginners can join any time
